Bromley Players is a non-professional performing arts group producing theatre productions around South East London and Kent. Recent shows include Hairspray, Lend Me a Tenor, Jesus Christ Superstar, Parade and Rock of Ages.
We are a very active and welcoming society specialising in musical theatre. We always welcome new members of all ages to the group.
Founded in 1967, the society have staged a high standard of plays, musicals and concerts in the Bromley area. The group was formerly known as the Bromley Operatic Society.
The society started as a choir for the Catholic church but the group always found themselves singing Gilbert and Sullivan songs. Due to this they decided to become an operatic society. Over the years the society has performed in a number of community theatres including the Churchill, the Stag and the Bob Hope Theatre. You can find a list of past productions in the 'shows' section of our website.
